Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful completion of the courses: "Introduction to Linguistics", "General Linguistics" (issues: the origin of language, genealogical classification of languages; language and speech; the form and content of the language element; the development of the lexical structure of the language, the meaning of a word, the change of the lexical meaning of a word), "Grammar of the modern German language" (grammatical features of the modern German language, grammatical form - grammatical meaning, grammatical categories). Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of traditional and modern scientific trends in linguistics (phonology, lexicology, lexicography, etymology, morphology, syntax; structural, comparative linguistics), the main trends in the development of the modern German language (language simplification, unification and at the same time complication, standardization, individualization, intellectualization and internationalization of the structure of the German language)
Course content
The subject of the discipline consists of basic theoretical questions from such sections of the German language as history, lexicology, and grammar. The content of the sections reveals the main provisions regarding the periods of development of the German language, the peculiarities of the formation and formation of its lexical composition and grammatical structure. The questions are formulated in such a way as to reflect the specificity of the German language within the specified aspects. The discipline is included in the mandatory block of specialization disciplines "Philology 03541 - Germanic languages ​​and literatures including translation), the first is English"; is an integral part of studying the sciences of the philological cycle.
