1.1. To know the results of modern sociological studies of key social problems 1.2. To know the system of basic sociological indicators for the study of social problems in modern societies 2.1. Be able to work with social information and data from sociological research 2.2. Be able to identify, analyze and interpret current social problems of society's development 2.3. Make abstracts of scientific sources in English, justify your own position, draw independent conclusions 2.4. Be able to use modern information and communication technologies in professional communication; exchange of information; collection, analysis, processing and data interpretation and visual representation of the results of scientific activity. 3.1. Demonstrate the skills of reasoned presentation of one's own opinion and competent and tolerant discussion with opponents. 4.1. To demonstrate the skills of independent research work, acquisition of new knowledge

Full-time form

1. Know English at the B1 level (intermediate level), theoretical foundations of sociology, modern sociological research projects, a sociological approach to the analysis of social phenomena, terminology, conceptual base and foundations of modern sociological theory and research. 2. Be able to work with sociological data, read professional sociological publications formulate ideas in English, navigate the political agenda. 3. Have the skills to search and select relevant information in English, use of methodologies and conceptual bases of sociological analysis; discuss, to present and justify one's own position on a selected topical social problem.
