            Learning outcomes
        
        
            To know: the regulatory and legal framework regarding the mechanisms of state stimulation of the development of territories; theoretical foundations of territorial organization of power; the basics of the administrative-territorial system of Ukraine and the peculiarities of the economic distribution of the country's territory (zoning).
Be able to: analyze models of territorial organization of power; to determine the places and roles of the phenomenon of territorial organization of power in the public governance of modern states in the definitive series of the categorical-conceptual apparatus of the science of public administration.
Autonomy and responsibility: development of proposals (projects) for state, regional and sectoral programs of socio-economic development based on the results of the analysis of state policy and the socio-economic state of the country, region, industry based on the methodology of model construction, based on resource provision and mechanisms.

            Prerequisites and additional requirements
To know: theoretical foundations and legal support of the territorial organization of power in Ukraine; historical, theoretical and general legal concepts, categories and hypotheses, legal foundations of the organization of the territory of the state.
Be able to: use modern means of theoretical analysis and correctly interpret and apply legal norms; ensure the effective use of mechanisms of state stimulation of territorial development and the development of proposals for territorial development programs, regional development agreements.
Possess: skills in solving typical legal tasks that may arise before specialists who ensure the activity of public authorities in the field of exercising powers within the relevant territory; skills in improving their professional qualifications.

Topic 1. The concept of "territorial organization of power". The essence is the territorial organization of power.
Topic 2. The specifics of the organization of power in different territories.
Topic 3. Political and legal dimension of the territorial organization of the state.
Topic 4. Territorial bodies of central executive bodies.
Topic 5. Components of territorial development

            Methods and criteria of assessment
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material:
- semester assessment (MAX - 60 points / MIN - 36 points - oral survey, discussion, modular control work, individual analytical task, independent work.
– final evaluation (MAX – 40 points / MIN – 24 points): the form of final evaluation is an exam. The form of the exam is written work with tasks of various levels of difficulty.
– final grade: the final grade is defined as the sum of grades (points) for all successfully assessed learning outcomes during the semester (grades below the minimum threshold level are not added to the final grade) and the grade obtained during the exam. The maximum number of points a student can receive is 100 points.
