Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the basics of applying statistical methods of psychology. 2. To be able to search for information in modern Western publications. 3. Knowledge of English, skills in using office programs.
Course content
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with modern multivariate statistical methods in the R environment used in socio-political and political-psychological research: multiple linear regression, logistic regression, classification trees, conjoint analysis, multivariate scaling. The issues of adequate research planning, peculiarities of applying these methods in the R environment, interpretation of analysis results and preparation of scientific publications are considered.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral answers (presentation at the seminar, participation in discussions and debates, additions): 60 / 40 points 2. Final analytical report: 40 / 20 points 3. Subject to participation in the annual All-Ukrainian competition "Social Data Analysis", the scientific student conference "Research Innovations", writing a scientific article in the Ukrainian Psychological Journal, 40 points are awarded, which may be missing in 1 and 2. The final evaluation is conducted in the form of credit. The grade is based on the results of the student's work during the semester (the maximum number of points for work during the semester is 100). Students who have scored a total of less than 60 points during the semester, but more than the critical-calculated minimum of 40 points, pass the test. The test is conducted in the form of a knowledge test on the course topics and a creative individual task, which are evaluated at 20 points.
