Learning outcomes
LO1. To analyze and interpret mental phenomena, identify psychological problems and suggest ways to resolve them. LO3. To search information from different sources for solving professional tasks including using information and communication technologies. LO4. To elaborate one's professional position, to make independent conclusions based on the results of own research and analysis of publications. LO10. To formulate logically own position in comprehensive way, discuss, defend, modify statements according to cultural characteristics of the partner. LO13. To interact, communicate, to be clear, tolerant to people with different cultural, age or gender-specific characteristics. LO16. To know, understand and implement ethical principles of psychologist professional activity.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basics of general, differential, and social psychology, developmental psychology. 2. Be able to systematize the acquired psychological knowledge for their effective use in the analysis of life situations and professionally-oriented activities; apply practical methods of psychodiagnostic. 3. Have the skills to search, process, and analyze information, use information and communication technologies.
Course content
The study of the discipline forms the ability to analyze the content, dynamics of development and functioning of male and female physiology and psyche, features of establishing healthy interpersonal relationships between the sexes, the application of this knowledge in personal life, and further professional activity. The aim is to provide students with knowledge about innate psychophysiological and acquired socio-psychological sexual characteristics of the individual, the patterns of their formation at different stages of ontogenesis, and the relationship with the behavior and activities of men and women; to lay the foundations for understanding the patterns of individual behavior depending on gender and gender orientation in different types of interpersonal interaction; to form the ability of practical application of acquired knowledge for the successful implementation of professional activities, personal development, various forms of life.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, discussions, and debates in seminars; individual and group creative tasks, case studies, diagnostic work with methods, elements of game training, individual work.
Assessment methods and criteria
The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. Oral answers at seminars, additions, participation in discussions, the performance of the creative individual and group tasks are evaluated at each lesson and independent work after classes. The final test is performed in the classroom at the end of the semester. The test is set by adding the number of points obtained for all types of work during the semester and the final test.
