Prerequisites and co-requisites
Scientific and industrial practice is a mandatory educational component. It is carried out before final attestation. Scientific and industrial practice involves a student's mastery of the full the amount of mandatory and optional educational components of the educational program chosen by him.
Course content
Scientific and industrial practice includes the student's study of the content of a complex technical problem field of computer engineering and its implementation of real practical steps aimed at completeness the solution of such a problem or for the achievement of significant significant progress in its solution. Knowledge, information
and the hands-on experience that students gain during their internship can be powerful foundation in further education and professional activity.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Practice can be carried out at enterprises, organizations and institutions of various forms of ownership, types of economic activity, organizational and legal status. Such structures should use modern forms and methods of management, their activities should correspond to the direction of the student's specialty. Production practice can be carried out in various divisions of the Taras Shevchenko National University. Students can offer the department a place of practice. Based on
practice manager is appointed from the enterprise, whose main task is to provide advice and practical assistance at the place of practice. Students draw up a report on the basis of practice. Completed materials are submitted for review and approval to the head of practice from the educational institution. The practice report defended by the student is kept at the Department of Computer Engineering.
Assessment methods and criteria
The report on production practice should cover the issues that were studied during the period of practice. The practice report should have a clear, logical structure
consistency, persuasive argumentation, provability of conclusions. The report is drawn up in the state language. The evaluation of the completion of scientific and industrial practice takes place according to the point rating system for evaluating students' knowledge using a 100-point national scale. A student who has not completed the internship program for valid reasons may be entitled to repeat the internship. A student who received a negative grade for practice for the second time will be expelled from the University.
