Know: theoretical and methodological foundations of social work within the framework of social protection and social security; the history of the formation of social work in Ukraine and the world; in general, the legislative framework for the institutional and functional implementation of social policy; have an idea about the forms of social assistance to citizens at the level of implementation of state social policy Be able to: analyze legislation; understand the main priorities of social protection of citizens; distinguish between social protection, social security and social support; to use the principles of the state policy of people in the activities of the FSR; use the methods of organizing the professional activity of the FSR in the process of implementing the state social policy.

The purpose of this course is to promote the assimilation of knowledge by undergraduates on the existing systems of social insurance and social security of the population (domestic and foreign experience) and social security technologies. In the process of teaching the discipline, the following is done: the essence of social insurance and social security is considered, their content, tasks and functions are determined; the characteristics of the subjects of social insurance and social security are carried out; their types and mechanisms are considered, The main problems and prospects for the development of social insurance in Ukraine are also substantiated. The foreign experience of the organization of social insurance is covered. Special attention is paid to the issue of distinguishing between social insurance and social security and a description of non-state forms of social insurance and the prospects for modernizing its development in Ukraine at the national and regional levels.

Oral answers, practical tasks, projects, exam. The maximum number of points per semester is 60 points. The form of the exam is oral, according to previously sent creative tasks and projects. The minimum number of points for admission to the get exam is 36 points. The number of points scored per semester is announced in advance.
