1. Know - modern techniques and technologies of bookmarking research sites and growing ornamental plants in open and closed ground; basic concepts of probability theory.
2. Be able to conduct primary statistical processing of quantitative characteristics.
3. Have PC skills.
Course content
The discipline "Biometrics" is a compulsory discipline, which forms a student's system of knowledge and skills of effective research in the field of horticulture: theoretical foundations of planning biological experiments, formation of sample statistical aggregates and methods of their classification, use of basic probability criteria statistical evaluation and testing of statistical hypotheses, methods of analysis of numerical and non-numerical data; understanding of modern software tools for computer analysis of experimental data.
