Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the theoretical foundations of childhood and existing doctrines and approaches to understanding the family, the historical development of the basic ideas of age psychology, the patterns of formation of social and psychological qualities of the individual in the space of family relationships, empirical research methods and methods of mathematical and statistical data processing. 2. To be able to design and implement empirical research on mental development in ontogeny; apply psychodiagnostic, developmental and counseling practices in working with individual and group clients, including families; perform practical professional duties in the workplace, which are proposed for practice by the practice base; 3. To possess professional abilities, skills to make independent decisions in certain areas of work (or on specific issues) in real production conditions by performing functions and tasks in the specialization.
Course content
The internship is designed to develop professional skills by performing specific functions and tasks in the specialization. The internship is conducted before the qualification work is completed and is the final link in the practical training of master's students. During the internship, knowledge of professional disciplines is consolidated, a holistic view of the professional activity of a child and family psychologist, professionally significant competencies and personality qualities necessary for solving practical problems are formed; experience of independent professional activity is gained.

Assessment methods and criteria
The current grade consists of points for a written Report (up to 3O points from the supervisor of the internship from the department of the educational institution) and an assessment from the supervisor of the internship from the internship site (up to 30 points). The maximum number of points that a student can receive is 60 points on a 100-point scale. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a differentiated test and involves the defense of the practice at the department. The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student is 40 points on a 100-point scale. The minimum threshold grade level at which a differentiated test is considered passed cannot be less than 24 points. A student is not admitted to the defense if he or she scored less than 36 points during the internship.
