1. To have the skills of critical thinking, to present their own thoughts in a clear way, to make their arguments.2. To analyze, comment scientific and analytical texts of culturological format.3. To create organized texts on cultural studies. 5. To collect, organize and analyze information on cultural phenomena.6. To identify, summarize information on various contexts of cultural practice, to determine the degree of their relevance using different sources.8. To interpret cultural sources using special literature and certain methods.9. To analyze the effectiveness of cultural policies in the context of specific parameters of their implementation.10. To recognize and classify different types of cultural products based on comprehensive analysis.11. To carry out expert assessment of cultural objects according to the criteria set and to provide recommendations for their social actualization.

1. Before studying this course, students must know the basic stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process; basic culturological teachings and methods of culturological research, basic culturological concepts and categories; ideas about the diversity of cultural achievements and values. 2. Be able to collect and interpret information on cultural phenomena, cultural processes and events; identify current trends in the coexistence of different cultures in the context of globalization and intercultural dialogue, predict the prospects for their development, taking into account the peculiarities of cultural processes in the context of globalization; apply modern methods in the process of understanding artistic phenomena. 3. Have basic skills in research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural and artistic events and phenomena; use of foreign language professional culturological information sources.
