Learning outcomes
1. To have the skills of critical thinking, to present their own thoughts in a clear way, to make their arguments.
5. To collect, organize and analyze information on cultural phenomena, events, historical and cultural processes.
6. To identify, verify and summarize information on various contexts of cultural practice, to determine the degree of their relevance using different sources, information, communication tools and visual technologies.
16. To define, formulate and argue their own civic and professional position on topical social issues.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before studying this course, students should know general ideas about theoretical and practical philosophy; the specifics of philosophical problems in their relation to science, religion, art as forms of spiritual life of mankind; the principles of critical understanding of philosophical concepts and the main options for solving philosophical problems; the nature and types of scientific rationality; the general structure of the worldview and theoretical and practical human activity in order to further master the criteria for expert assessments and ways of their professional
Course content
The discipline "Social Philosophy" belongs to the block of compulsory disciplines. Modern social philosophy occupies a prominent place among the disciplines that belong to the field of practical philosophy. An interesting aspect of understanding the discipline is its interpretation as a general social theory, as well as the worldview functions and academic features of social philosophy, because a person appears as a social being. Thus, it is social philosophy that allows students to gain a holistic view of the phenomenon of society, but this does not simplify the complexity and diversity of the social, because the methodological guidelines used by the course instructor direct them to a constant and independent comprehension of the diversity of the surrounding social world and new searches.
