Learning outcomes
The result of training in the discipline "Design and technology of radio-electronic means" is the formation of solid knowledge and skills in students, based on which future specialists will be able to develop and use information security tools taking into account their specific purpose.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To be able to use the apparatus of elementary and higher mathematics. Be able to run and manage application software based on a graphical user interface. To know mathematical methods of describing physical and statistical characteristics of signals and messages. To know the basics of building radio-electronic means and information and telecommunication systems.
Course content
General information about information security tools. Organization of creation and use of information security tools. Basics of creating complexes of technical protection of information against leakage through technical channels. Classification and characteristics of information protection means. Signs of embedded devices. Complexes and means of assessing the security of information against leakage through technical channels.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures - 60 hrs, practical lessons - 46 hrs, laboratory work - 14 hrs, independent work - 120 hrs, total - 240 hrs.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment is carried out by writing a modular test (up to 20 points), defending laboratory works (up to 10 points) and performing independent work tasks (up to 30 points), in total - up to 60 points. Final evaluation in the form of an exam - up to 40 points.
