            Familiarization of students with the main types of signals and processes in linear and non-linear radio circuits and methods of their theoretical analysis.

            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            Know the laws describing the behavior of electric circuits, the main types of analog electronic devices used in radio electronics. To be able to use the apparatus of elementary and higher mathematics. Have basic skills in working with mathematical software packages. 
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            Radio technical signals. Passage of regular signals through linear circuits. Filters and amplifiers. Generators. Non-linear circuits. Theory of random signals. Noises Filtration. Discretization of signals. Digital transmission of information.

            Planned learning activities and teaching methods
        
        
            Lectures - 76 hrs, practical lessons - 44 hrs, laboratory work - 14 hrs, consultations - 1 hr, independent work - 135 hrs, total - 270 hrs. 
        
    
            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Semester evaluation is carried out by writing two modular control papers, completing two colloquiums and defending laboratory works. The maximum number of points that can be obtained during the semester is 60 points. Final evaluation in the form of an exam - up to 40 points.
