Learning outcomes
As a result of the study of the academic discipline, general competences in the field of education are formed: the ability to organize independent educational, practical and research activities; competence in the field of application of knowledge in practical situations, the ability to apply the acquired theoretical and conceptual professional knowledge in the process of practical work, mastering the basic provisions on the protection of confidential data, taking into account modern achievements and the development of information technologies.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the postulates of cryptographic protection; shorthand methods to ensure confidentiality of information; types of models. Be able to use software complexes for monitoring, sources of confidential information; analyze and assess threats to systems in cyberspace. Possess elementary skills of design, use of methods of scientific research, analysis and assessment of threats to systems in cyberspace.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to master the basic provisions on the protection of confidential data, taking into account modern achievements and the development of information technologies.

Assessment methods and criteria
The level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by the results of the defense of practical work and individual tasks of independent work. Semester assessment of students is carried out during the semester for all types of work. The total score is formed as a weighted sum of points earned by the student for various types of work. The maximum number of points that a student can receive for work in a semester does not exceed 100 points. The form of the final evaluation is the The final evaluation form is EXAMINATION. The recommended minimum for admission to the exam is 36 points. The exam is valued at 40 points. The exam grade cannot be less than 24 points to receive an overall positive grade for the course.
