            The practice of research, technical diagnostics and modeling of radio electronic devices and information security systems requires students to have previously mastered the following courses: "Signals and processes in radio engineering", "Basics of construction and application of information security devices", "Electrodynamics of the near field", "Basics of the theory of information transmission".
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            Organization and procedure for technical diagnostics of a sample of an information protection tool. The order of registration of the program and methods of conducting research, technical diagnostics and modeling of information protection means. Study of the design and characteristics of the means of technical protection of information of general purpose. Research of software and hardware means of cryptographic protection of information. Research and modeling of the implementation of special requirements for information protection against leakage through technical channels of information protection means.

            Planned learning activities and teaching methods
        
        
            The practice of research, technical diagnostics and modeling of radio-electronic means and information security systems is carried out for three weeks and involves the completion of the assigned task under the supervision of the head of the practice, analysis of the results, writing and defense of the report. 
        
    
            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            The grade for the internship consists of the sum of the grades received during the internship (up to 60 points) and the defense of a written report (explanatory note) - up to 40 points.
