Learning outcomes
2. to analyze textual and visual sources of information about cultural phenomena and processes; to verify information according to professional objectives.
3. to analyze cultural rights and human freedoms, forms and mechanisms of their identification, inculturation, cultural adaptation, taking into account their regional specifics.
6. to communicate fluently in official and foreign languages orally and in writing to discuss professional issues, presentation of research results and projects.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Students should know the main stages of the development of Ukrainian statehood, key events in the history of Ukraine, the main achievements of world and Ukrainian culture, the main cultural phenomena, events and historical-cultural processes that took place on the territory of Ukraine, their periodization and characteristics.
Be able to collect and interpret information about events, processes, phenomena and phenomena of history and culture; analyze specialized scientific literature and reference materials devoted to the historical and cultural development of the regions of Ukraine; identify factors of cultural development of regions at different historical stages, regional features and characteristics of cultural processes and phenomena.
Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural and artistic events and phenomena;
Course content
The discipline "Ukrainian regional studies" provides students with the modern division of the territory of Ukraine according to the theory of regionalism. While studying the course, emphasis is placed on considering the cultural features of modern regions of Ukraine, the study of cultural monuments and their state of preservation, the state policy regarding the cultural development of the regions, the analysis of their tourist attraction and the prospects for the development of historical and cultural tourism.

1. Oral report, additions and participation in discussions at seminars: 24/40 points.
2. Self-study (presentation of an self-study "Analysis of the tourist attractiveness of one of the regions of Ukraine and prospects for the development of historical and cultural tourism"): 6 / 10 points
3. Test work: 6 / 10 points
The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student based on the results of mastering the material of the entire academic discipline.
All types of current work in the semester have as a result:
- in the maximum dimension - 60 points
- in the minimum dimension – 36 points
Final evaluation in the form of an exam:
Written exam: RN 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 2.1, 2.2 – 24 / 40 points.
The exam takes place in written form. The ticket consists of 2 questions, each of which is evaluated on a scale of up to 20 points, which gives a total of 40 points for the exam. A student is not admitted to the exam if he scored less than 20 points during the semester.
