Learning outcomes
2. to analyze textual and visual sources of information about cultural phenomena and processes; to verify information according to professional objectives.
3. to analyze cultural rights and human freedoms, forms and mechanisms of their identification, inculturation, cultural adaptation, taking into account their regional specifics.
6. to communicate fluently in official and foreign languages orally and in writing to discuss professional issues, presentation of research results and projects.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Students should know the basics of the development and phenomenology of Slavic cultures, know the functional features of culture in the modern multicultural situation of the global world.
2. Be able to collect and interpret information about the phenomena and phenomena of ethno-cultural communities, to be able to analyze the historical, worldview, spiritual, artistic and aesthetic features of cultural creation of Slavic communities; apply the main terms, categories and classifications of cultural studies and cultural history in relation to phenomena and processes;
3. Possess the skills of scientific research, professional search and information management; critical understanding and forecasting in relation to administrative, political, cultural events and artistic phenomena; use modern research methods and foreign language professional sources.
Course content
The educational discipline introduces students to the basics of research into the historical, cultural and cultural process of the Slavic region. The logic of scientific knowledge qualifies culture as the starting point and result of human development. The discipline "Culture of the Slavic peoples" is part of an in-depth understanding of world culture, imbues such subject areas as the history of culture, religion, art, and the history of civilization with concrete content. The discipline is important for the formation of national consciousness, understanding the place and role of Ukrainians in the world cultural process, it is an interdisciplinary field of research on relations and processes of cultural policy formation in the field of cultural diplomacy. The subject, tasks, theoretical foundations, methodologies, main directions and issues of modern research in the field of historical, cultural and cultural study of Slavic cultures are determined. Globalization and transnational cultural processes in Europe and the world are analyzed, consideration and search for non-violent mechanisms of socio-cultural and transnational communication is carried out. The principles of the value-processual understanding of the phenomenon of Slavic culture are considered, attention is paid to the peculiarities of the development of art, cultural and creative industries in the compartist paradigm, globalization processes and their prospects for Ukraine are studied.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral answer, additions and participation in discussions at seminars: 27/45 points
2. Sel-study - "Problems and challenges of the formation of the culture of the Slavic region": 12/20 points
3. Self-study "Cultural institutions, processes, practices: the policy of "soft power" in Ukraine and Central Europe" 12/20 points
4. Test 9\15 points
The semester number of points during the academic period is formed by the points received by the student in the process of mastering the material from all parts of the academic discipline, taking into account the coefficient of 0.6.
All types of work during the academic period have as a result:
- in the maximum measure 100 points x 0.6 = 60 points
- in the minimum measure 60 points x0.6 = 36 points
Written exam - 24 / 40 points
Examination evaluation takes place in written form. The ticket consists of 2 questions, each of which is evaluated on a scale of 20 points, which gives a total of 40 points for the exam.
