1. to understand the specifics and features of the implementation of cultural ideas, images, and meanings, as well as to critically evaluate the possibilities of their interpretation to solve important problems for a society. 6. to communicate fluently in official and foreign languages orally and in writing to discuss professional issues, presentation of research results and projects. 7. to evaluate historical achievements and the latest achievements in cultural studies. 8. to make effective decisions to solve complex tasks and practical problems of cultural development of society.

1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process; basic cultural theories and methods of cultural studies, including methods of philosophy of culture, cultural anthropology, sociology of culture, economics of culture; basic cultural concepts and categories; basics of communication theory and cultural practices; 2. To be able to collect and interpret information about the phenomena and phenomena of culture, cultural processes and events; apply the main terms, categories and classifications of cultural studies in the analysis of socio-cultural phenomena and processes; to identify modern trends of coexistence of different cultures in conditions of conflict of interpretation. 3. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural and artistic events and phenomena;

"Seminar on Cultural Anthropology" belongs to the list of optional disciplines. The educational discipline introduces students to the foundations of the shift in the humanities and the foundations of the formation of cultural anthropology as a new type of humanitarian discourse. The subject, tasks, theoretical foundations, methodologies, main directions and problems of modern cultural anthropology are defined. The natural socio-cultural foundations of the process of man's exit from nature and their scientific understanding are clarified. The socio-cultural dynamics of anthropogenesis, the formation and breakdown of the genus (in the early forms of culture and in the process of the "Neolithic revolution" in the pre-civilization period) are studied, attention is paid to the methodological problems of building the theory of cultural anthropology. The theoretical foundations of the organization of such cultural practices as initiation, gift exchange, potlatch, avunculat, sacrifice and war, their correlations with historical types of cultural practices, the place of the tribal and ethnic community in this process, as well as the basis for the formation of a hierarchy of value orientations, are considered, the main typologies are outlined early forms of culture. The variability of the theories explaining the specified cultural practices, which are the result of the influence of interconnected factors (cultural-historical, social, religious, material and technological), as well as the correlation of cultural practices studied by cultural anthropology with modern processes of archaization of the global cultural space, are explained. Self-study (presentation of independent research): 7 / 10 points All types of work for the semester have as a result: - in the maximum dimension of 80 points - a minimum of 48 points In case of absence from the seminar, the student must complete the seminar assignment in writing. Final control work in written form - 12 / 20 points The final number of points for the discipline (maximum 100 points) is defined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final test. Credit does not involve additional evaluation measures.
