Course content
The discipline "Peculiarities of plant interaction in urban landscapes" is a selective discipline, which forms a comprehensive view of: features of the cycle of physiologically active substances that play the role of regulator of internal and external relations, renewal, development and change of vegetation under urbanization; chemical nature of secretions and diffusers, biological significance of phytogenic organic substances in the atmosphere; phytoncide activity of plants, physiological action of volatile secretions; mechanisms and features of heterotrophic plant nutrition as a prerequisite for allelopathic action, the importance of microorganisms in allelopathy of higher plants; prerequisites for the participation of allelopathy in the landscaping of urban landscapes.
