Learning outcomes
Acquaintance of students with technologies and devices for obtaining information, which will be reproduced in the form of a static or dynamic image, data processing to ensure the maximum quality of image reproduction, methods and means of image reproduction, features of modern digital technologies in this field.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: basic principles of optical image formation; basic mathematical methods of signal processing; modern trends in the development of electronic means of signal processing. Be able to: use complex applied software tools for editing data of various types; "read" block diagrams of complex electronic, including digital, devices and systems.
Course content
Data preparation for visualization. Development of television technologies. Means of obtaining data from an optical image. Medical and scientific and technical visualization. Digital technologies of television and cinematography. Other technologies and means of image reproduction.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures - 46 hrs, laboratory work - 10 hrs, independent work - 64 hrs, total - 120 hrs.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: defense of laboratory and independent individual works, in total - up to 60 points. Final assessment in the form of an exam - up to 40 points.
