Learning outcomes
PR5. Have working skills of independent work and the ability to obtain results within a limited time with an emphasis on professional integrity in the cultivation of ornamental plants in open and closed soils, design, creation and operation of garden and park facilities. PR9. Coordinate, integrate and improve the organization of production processes in horticulture. PR10. Effectively plan work, both independently and collectively, to obtain the necessary results in production. PR11. Have the ability to teach, monitor and evaluate the professional skills of younger colleagues. PR18. Be able to identify potentially dangerous production processes that may pose a threat of emergencies and compliance with safety rules.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basics of engineering and computer graphics, landscape graphics, soil science, geodesy, mechanization of garden and park facilities, organization of garden and park production. 2. Know the basics of color science and three-dimensional composition. 3. Be able to use computer programs SketchUp, AutoCAD, TwiLight at a basic level. 4. Be able to prepare the graphic part of the landscape design documentation. 5. Be able to collect source data for landscaping.
Course content
The course is devoted to the theory and practice of design, creation and operation of engineering equipment of landscape architecture, the typology of engineering structures and their functional purpose. The organization of construction of engineering structures, the specifics of construction technologies used in the creation of such facilities are covered. Attention is paid to the problems of water regime regulation and the role of engineering equipment in optimizing the use of atmospheric and groundwater. . The course is based on practical work on the project of landscaping, during which students deepen their knowledge of the regulatory framework and practice of creating and using garden / park engineering structures.
