1. Successful mastering of the courses "Plant Biology", "Vegetation of the globe", "Plant Physiology", "Dendrology", "Forest Taxation", "Forest Management", "Forestry". 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of dendrology, plant physiology, forest taxonomy, etc. disciplines, perform practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Have basic skills in working with herbarium materials and equipment used in biological and biotechnological laboratories
Course content
The discipline "World trends and innovations in landscape design and landscaping" is a basic discipline related to the latest innovations in landscape design. Its place in the system of other disciplines is most consistent with the acquisition of the necessary skills by students majoring in "Horticulture". The subject of the discipline is the concepts, principles and methods needed to understand modern approaches in landscape design. In the course of studying the discipline the practical application and significance of certain methods, concepts and systems in landscape design and landscaping and other spheres of social activity (agriculture, biotechnology, search for new plant resources, production of raw materials of plant origin, life safety, nature protection, models of sustainable development of nature and society, education, etc.). The aim of the discipline is to form a system of abilities and skills to use world trends in landscape design.
