Learning outcomes
PR4. Have methods of observation, description, identification, classification, selection, microclonal propagation, cultivation of ornamental plants and plant horticultural groups, to maintain their decorative, stability and stability under different conditions. PR5. Have working skills of independent work and the ability to obtain results within a limited time with an emphasis on professional integrity in the cultivation of ornamental plants in open and closed soils, design, creation and operation of garden and park facilities. PR7. To organize activities on the technology of growing planting material of ornamental grasses and flowering plants of open and closed soils and to design garden and park facilities in accordance with modern requirements. PR8.Use innovative approaches to solve specific practical problems in the field of horticulture

1. Know the main types of plant communities in Ukraine.
2. Know the basics of color science and three-dimensional composition.
3. Know the main types of soils of Ukraine.
4. Be able to perform landscape assessment.
5. Have the skills to work in AutoCAD, SkechUp, TwiLight.
Course content
The discipline "Garden and park compositions" is a selective discipline, which consists of information on the criteria for assessing the aesthetic appeal of the territory for the creation of garden and park facilities, principles and methods of developing spatial solutions for garden and park facilities, methods of creating artificial attractive landscapes on landscaping. The study of the discipline lays the foundation for the use in the country's horticultural economy of advanced technologies for the design of garden and park facilities of various scales and purposes based on the achievements of landscape design.

4. Oral answers-additions, presentations RN 2.1-3.1: 16 points / 8 points
