Learning outcomes
PR3. Have knowledge in the field of basic sciences (ecology, botany, dendrology, plant physiology, genetics and selection of ornamental plants, soil science of urban ecosystems, agricultural techniques of growing ornamental plants, design, formation and operation of components of garden objects, protection of ornamental plants from pests and diseases, mechanization of gardening, etc.) to the extent necessary for specialized professional work in the field of gardening. PR8. Use innovative approaches to solve specific practical problems in the field of horticulture.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basics of fine arts 2. Know the basics of color science and three-dimensional composition 3. Be able to use computer programs SketchUp, AutoCAD, TwiLight 4. Be able to prepare the graphic part of the landscape design documentation. 5. Be able to perform measurements of territories and landscape assessment.
Course content
The course is devoted to the theory and practice of landscape design and introduces students to a set of basic design work, such as information collection, analysis, functional zoning, master plan development, project presentation. The course is based on practical work on the project of landscaping the area in front of the western facade of the Red Building of the University or a private area of ​​the student's choice. At the beginning of the course the basic standards and norms that regulate the work on the project of improvement of historical territories are considered, attention is paid to the normative base of designing places of modern urban development.

Presentation of the 3rd stage of the project. PH 1.2, 2.2, 3.1 - 40 points / 20 points 3. Presentation of the 4th stage of the project (defense of the project). PH 1.2, 2.2, 3.1 - 20 points / 10 points Final assessment: in the form of a test
