Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: the basics of the theory of landscape architecture 2. Be able to: use computer programs AutoCAD and SketchUp or equivalent programs for drawing and 3D modeling. 3. Have basic skills in drawing and using watercolors and / or other means and materials of fine arts
Course content
The course is devoted to the theory and practice of the use of colors in landscape architecture. The theoretical course focuses on color theory as a means of architectural composition, the use of colors in garden spaces of various types, color selection for architectural composition elements, color selection systems and features of their use in architectural software, in particular in SketchUp. The knowledge gained in lectures is consolidated in practical classes during the landscaping of a small garden in the backyard.

Current assessment: 1. Test work on the results of the module 1. PH 1.1, 1.2, 2.1 - 30 points / 15 points 2. Protection of the first stage of the educational project (zoning). PH 1.2, 3.1, 3.2 - 10 points / 5 points 3. Protection of the second stage of the educational project (sketch project). PH 2.2, 3.1, 3.2 - 20 points / 10 points 4. Protection of the third stage of the educational project (3d-modeling). PH 1.2, 2.3, 3.1, 3.2 - 20 points / 10 points 5. Protection of the fourth stage of the educational project (project proposal). PH 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.1, 3.2 - 20 points / 10 points Final assessment: in the form of a test
