Learning outcomes
PR6. Analyze biological phenomena and processes at the molecular, cellular, organismal, population-species and biosphere levels from the point of view of fundamental general scientific knowledge, as well as using special modern research methods. PP7. Describe and analyze the principles of structural and functional organization, regulation mechanisms and adaptations of organisms to the influence of various factors. PP20. On the basis of in-depth knowledge of the natural sciences, form an idea about the patterns of individual and historical development of biological systems at different levels of organization, the role of system processes in their formation, functioning and plasticity, the peculiarities of their cooperative interaction, as well as about the systematic nature of the organization of living things.

Course content
The educational discipline "Parasitology" is a component of the educational program of professional training of specialists at the "Master's" educational level. "Parasitology" is a selective discipline that covers a wide range of issues related to the diversity, peculiarities of biology and ecology, the formation of adaptations to a parasitic way of life, the practical significance of unicellular and multicellular animals - parasites of humans and animals, and also outlines a range of methods, methodological approaches and algorithms of analysis that can be used in setting up experiments in related sciences and within the framework of interdisciplinary projects and that require deep knowledge of parasitology.
