Learning outcomes
The main tasks of studying the discipline are
- to form an understanding of agent-oriented modeling;
- know and be able to apply the concepts of approaches based on the agent-oriented method in modeling and data analysis;
- know and understand the concept of modeling, working with data: collection, processing, analysis;
- know the basic notations for building business processes, perform analysis, improvement or reengineering of business processes;
- be able to develop business models for further implementation in the company's economic activity;
- to be able to use scientific and reference literature according to the direction of the discipline.

1. To know
• basic definitions and theorems obtained during the study of mathematical disciplines;
• basic rules of reengineering;
• basics of machine coding and working with Big Data.
2. To be able to
• perform practical and laboratory work, prepare and defend them;
• formalize the execution and protection of independent works;
3. Have elementary skills:
• finding the necessary information for studying the discipline,
• use the e-learning system,
• knowledge assessment and testing system,
• testing, passing tests and exams.
Course content
The educational discipline "Agent-oriented modeling and business analytics" is a component of the educational and professional training program for specialists at the educational and qualification level "master" in the field of knowledge 12 "Information technologies" specialty 126 "Information systems and technologies" of the educational program "Software technologies of the Internet of things ". The discipline is included in the compulsory educational disciplines.
As part of studying the course "Agent-oriented modeling and business analytics", applicants get acquainted with the concepts of agent-oriented modeling, the concept of creating and implementing models, the theoretical and methodological foundations and applied aspects of business analytics are considered, in particular statistical methods of economic analytics, business methods - analytics and assessment of risks in the activities of business entities, basics of programming statistical methods of analysis and models.

Assessment methods and criteria
The grade for the semester is formed by successful completion and defense of laboratory work, successful passing of intermediate testing on course topics, and module control.
Applicants perform 6 laboratory works, which are evaluated from 3 to 5 points per work (total number of points from 18 to 30 points for laboratory works). The work is considered submitted on time when the defense takes place on the next pair after the task is issued, unless other deadlines are notified by the teacher.
The current evaluation is conducted in the form of a survey of applicants on the topics of previous lectures or topics of tasks for independent study, performance of tests, discussions and reports, as well as intermediate modular control works.
Applicants take training courses related to the field of business analytics based on the teacher's recommendation. Actively participate in discussions during lectures and laboratory work.
Final evaluation in the form of an exam: is 40 module points.
