Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of disciplines of EL "Bachelor". Ability to independently apply knowledge and skills acquired during mastering biochemistry, immunology and molecular biology; know the basics of modern research methods, search for scientific literature and have the basics of systems analysis. Possession of skills in working with materials and equipment used in practical biochemistry and immunology
Course content
The discipline "Molecular and biochemical bases of immunity" is a component of the cycle of training specialists of the educational level "Master" in the educational program "Biology". It acquaints the student with the basic principles of structure and functioning of the immune system, features of biochemical characteristics of antigenic determinants, the structure of immunoglobulins and their genes, lymphocyte activation and the specifics of immunodiagnostics in pathological conditions. The discipline "Molecular and biochemical bases of immunity" highlights the features of biochemical ways of implementing the immune system in the functioning of the body's defense mechanisms;
