Learning outcomes
Be able to apply computational skills and data processing skills related to information and data of information and communication networks, telecommunications and radio engineering systems; be able to observe the terminology in the field of telecommunications and radio engineering; be able to choose the main technologies of information and telecommunication networks, telecommunication and radio engineering systems and their main characteristics; be able to communicate, including oral and written communication, in one of the common European languages (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish), as well as the language of their native country; be able to understand and tolerantly perceive the ethical norms of behavior in relation to other people.

Course content
Higher mathematics in information technology is devoted to the study of the basics of linear algebra, analytical geometry, differential and integral calculus, differential equations and numerical and functional series. The first semester covers the basics of functions of a complex variable, linear algebra, vector algebra and analytic geometry, an introduction to calculus. In the second semester, the differential calculus of functions of one and many variables, their application, integral calculus, differential equations, series. The discipline "Higher Mathematics in Information Technologies" is the basic subject for studying the main professional disciplines of the educational program "Network and Internet Technologies" such as: "Theory of Algorithms", " Probabilistic Foundations in Information Technologies ", "Computer Logic and Discrete Mathematics", etc.

Lectures, practical activities, laboratory works, individual work.
Assessment methods and criteria
The level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by the results of the student completing assignments for practical, laboratory work, writing module tests during the semester and passing the exam. Students are assessed throughout the semester for all types of work. The total score is formed as a weighted sum of points earned by the student. Admission to the exam is the successful (positive assessment) performance by the student of all types of work. The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of theoretical assimilation of the material in all sections of the discipline, the implementation of practical, laboratory, independent, modular tests provided for by the working curriculum (60 points (60%) - semester control and 40 points (40%) - exam). The maximum number of points that a student can receive does not exceed 100 points.
