Learning outcomes
The ability to apply knowledge of state and foreign languages in order to ensure the effectiveness of professional communication, to adapt to the conditions of frequent changes in the technologies of professional activity, to predict the final result, to act on the basis of the legislative and regulatory framework of Ukraine and the requirements of relevant standards, including international ones in the field of information and /or cyber security, solve the task of protecting programs and information processed in information and telecommunication systems by means of software and hardware and give an assessment of the effectiveness of the quality of the decisions made, implement complex information protection systems in the automated systems (AS) of the organization (enterprise) in accordance with the requirements of regulatory legal documents, to ensure the processes of protection and functioning of information and telecommunication (automated) systems based on practices.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of the main areas of development of the management system in the field of information security; of the general methodology and structure of organizational support for information security and cyber security at the state level, the foundations of the systems of the complex system of information protection at the level of the organization, the regulatory and legal framework for the management of the complex system of information protection, the management system of information and cyber security. To have basic skills in using mathematical methods in information systems and network work, discrete mathematics, electrical engineering and electronics, and theory of algorithms.
Course content
The educational task of the discipline "Complex systems of information protection" consists in increasing the level of knowledge of applicants in the theory and practice of information protection by technical means, acquiring skills and abilities in identifying specialized channels of information leakage, blocking them, creating and implementing complexes of technical information protection, in the knowledge of the basics of organization and the procedure for performing works on the creation of complex information protection systems of telecommunication systems, depending on the nature of the object of protection. The purpose of the discipline is to form the acquirers of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of independent work to ensure comprehensive protection of information at the objects of information activity on the basis of regulatory documents, and national and international standards. To provide applicants with in-depth knowledge in mastering general theoretical knowledge and practical skills regarding the development of a typical strategy and organization of a complex information protection system and studying the features of building complex information protection systems and centralized management of the information security system.

Assessment methods and criteria
The results of the educational activities of the winners are evaluated on a 100-point scale. The condition for receiving a positive overall grade for the discipline is to obtain at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points. To be admitted to the exam, the applicant must score at least 36 points for the current semester's work. The candidate can obtain a maximum of 40 points in the exam, but the exam score cannot be less than 24 points to obtain an overall positive rating for the course. In the event that the applicant scored less than 24 points on the exam, the points received are not added to the semester grade (regardless of the number of points received during the semester), in the examination information (in the column “points for the exam”) put “0”, and in the column "resulting grade" is transferred only the number of points received during the semester.
