Learning outcomes
PR2. Use libraries, information databases, Internet resources to search for the necessary information. PR4. Solve complex problems in the field of biology, generate and evaluate ideas. PR5. Analyze and evaluate the impact of biology on the development of society. PR 13. Adhere to the basic rules of biological ethics, biosafety, biosecurity, assess the risks of the latest biological, biotechnological and medical biological methods and technologies, identify potentially dangerous organisms or production processes that may pose a threat of emergencies. PR 19. Solve scientific-theoretical, research and applied problems of biology by appropriate methods. PR 37. Be able to use modern methods of cytological and histological analysis to determine the physiological status of cells and / or tissues in normal and in pathology, at different stages of ontoge histogenesis, when changing the parameters of the local environment.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Cytology", "Histology", "Biology of individual development", "Genetics", "Biochemistry", "Molecular Biology". 2. Ability to independently apply cytological, histological and embryological knowledge to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific and methodological literature. 3. Possession of basic skills of monitoring the development of gametes and embryos in the early stages of development.
Course content
The discipline is a basic embryological discipline that covers the methods of manipulation of germ cells, some or all stages of preparation of reproductive cells, the processes of fertilization and development of embryos, carried out in vitro, before their transfer to the uterus. The discipline is designed to highlight the main issues regarding the peculiarities of the basics of various embryological and cellular techniques and assisted reproductive methods; practical use of reproductive methods in various areas of human economic activity: in modern medicine, veterinary medicine and research.
