Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical material of disciplines taught to students of educational level "Bachelor" and special disciplines, such as "Ecology of microorganisms", "Laws of growth of microorganisms", "Metabolism of microorganisms".
2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, cytology and histology, virology, biophysics, etc.
3. Knowledge of the basic principles of basic biological methods.
Course content
The discipline "Biogeochemical activity of microorganisms" is a component of the educational program of professional training of specialists of educational level "Master".
The discipline is a basic discipline that covers the participation of microorganisms in the biogeochemical cycles of basic nutrients: Carbon, Nitrogen, Sulfur, Phosphorus, trace elements, metals on land, atmosphere, in the oceans; destruction of various materials, formation of secondary minerals. The role of microorganisms in creating a modern atmosphere is considered. The course is designed to generalize the role of microorganisms in mass transfer and distribution of chemical elements in the biosphere.
