Learning outcomes
The student must know the main macroeconomic concepts and categories, methods and models of macroeconomics; theoretical concepts of leading scientific schools and areas of economic science in the field of macroeconomic research; macroeconomic indicators, trends, features and problems of functioning of the modern world and national economy; to understand how the economic system functions, the mechanism of action of various factors that cause disruption and restoration of macroeconomic balance; be able to use the methodological tools of macroeconomic science when monitoring, analyzing and systematizing information on economic phenomena and processes at the level of the national economy; explain the essence of macroeconomic processes and phenomena; apply appropriate economic and mathematical methods and models for solving economic problems and meaningfully interpret the obtained results.

Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the disciplines "Economic theory", "Microeconomics".
Course content
Macroeconomics is a branch of economic science, that studies: patterns of functioning of the national economy as a whole; acquaints students with the patterns of aggregated behavior of macroeconomic subjects at the level of the economic system as a whole; factors influencing the main macroeconomic parameters – gross domestic product, the level of unemployment and inflation, the state of the state budget and the country's balance of payments, rates of economic growth, etc.; installation conditions macroeconomic equilibrium and the reasons for its violation in the context of aggregated markets.

Assessment methods and criteria
- semester assessment 60 points maximum / 36 points minimum; - final evaluation in the form of an exam: the maximum score is 40 points, the final score is 24 points. The final number of points from the discipline (maximum 100 points) is defined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester and exam results.
