Learning outcomes
To know: - Theoretical bases and conceptual categorical apparatus of the course - History of the world political doctrines and political doctrines of Ukraine, main political schools, Concepts - The main political events of modern Ukraine, political reforms, human and citizen rights - Problems of the world political process and international socio- political relations, peculiarities of political life in Ukraine and its place in the world political space. To be able: - To carry out research of different scientific approaches to explain certain components of sociological political science, to be able to analyze and compare them.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- Be able to collect and process the information on theoretical and practical issues, work with scientific and non-fiction material, namely to compare and analyze it. - Have basic skills in scientific research, information gathering, use of scientific sources.
Course content
Module 1. “General theoretical aspects” is devoted to the study of politics and its forms, forms of government, system of government and political power. Module 2. “Modern development of socio-political life” is devoted to the study of modern political ideologies and socio-political processes, the main aspects of international relations and trends of world polstics.
