PLO 4. Understand the principles of economics, features of economic systems. PLO 10. Carry out an analysis of the functioning and development of economic entities, determine the functional areas, calculate the relevant indicators that characterize the effectiveness of their activities. PLO 11. Be able to analyze the processes of state and market regulation of socio-economic and labor relations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the content of the main stages of world history and the history of Ukraine. Have the skills of analytical thinking, the ability to generalize, comparative analysis, public speaking, English. Be able to analyze phenomena and processes, prepare presentations.
Course content
The course provides the basic knowledge on the history of the world economy. The course is devoted to the study of general issues of methodology of historical and economic research, periodization of economic history, genesis of types and forms of management of the world's leading countries in the pre-industrial era, patterns of major industries formation and its features in specific countries, transformation of management and organization of production in XX-XXI centuries.
