PLO 4. Understand the principles of economics, features of economic systems.
PLO 7. To explain the models of socio-economic phenomena from the point of view of fundamental principles and knowledge on the basis of understanding the basic directions of the development of economics.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the courses "Economics", "Economic History".
Knowledge of theoretical foundations: fundamental problems of economic theory, functions of economic theory, main stages and directions of historical development of economy, historical evolution of economic systems and economic orders.
Possession of basic general scientific and specific methods of economic research, economic categorical apparatus, public speaking skills.
Course content
The course provides the basic knowledge of the history of economic thought. The discipline is devoted to the study and understanding of the content, prerequisites and patterns of evolution of world economics as a holistic system of economic views and ideas.
