Course content
Comprehensive training practice in geological surveying includes: drilling, geophysical methods and geological surveying. The practice is carried out at the landfill, which is located within the Skib zone of the flysch Carpathians, around the village. Combs. Students get acquainted with the general features of the geological structure of practice at the regional level and the history of geological research in the region, to prepare field individual and team equipment. During the field At the stage of practice, students in teams go through reconnaissance and independent routes in which they collect factual material on lithology, stratigraphy, tectonics, geomorphology and Quaternary geology of the landfill. The in-house period of practice is the final stage, students in the teams make a clean geological map of the landfill at a scale of 1: 25000 and write an explanatory note to it. The results of the practice are defended by a commission of teachers that conducted training practice.
