Learning outcomes
PLO 5. Explain the models of socio-economic phenomena, guided by the fundamental principles and knowledge of the main directions of development of economic science. PLO 13. Be able to work both independently and in a team. PLO 17. Understand and independently form the content, structure and conclusions of scientific and analytical texts on economics. PLO 20. Use information and communication technologies to solve socio-economic problems, prepare and submit analytical reports.

1) Know: disciplines "Economics: micro and macroeconomics", "Introduction to University Studies", "Higher Mathematics", "Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics", "Fundamentals of Programming", "Statistics", "Statistics", "Electronic Statistical Documentation", " Econometrics "," Statistical analysis of time series "," Statistical analysis of relationships "," Theory and practice of sample surveys "," Demographic statistics ". 2) Possess: skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and visualization of statistical data, work with the regulatory framework.
Course content
Getting acquainted with the statistical package for social sciences, mastering the basic techniques of statistical analysis using SPSS software, developing the ability to visualize and interpret the results of social research to identify trends and patterns of development and decision-making.

The purpose of the discipline is to expand and deepen theoretical knowledge and acquire professional competencies in sociological analysis of various spheres of public life and effective management decisions through the use of statistical packages for the social sciences.
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment: (max. 100 points / min. 60 points) 1. Participation in laboratory work - 20 points / 6 points; 2. 2 control modular works - 10 points / 6 points; 3. Independent work - 50 points / 30 points; 4. Final test - 20 points / 12 points.
