Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the course "Economic Analytics and Statistics" or similar on the results of training. 1. Know: the basic concepts of scientific justification and mechanisms of natural, technical, and social principles of modern worldview; knowledge of the history of science in general and understanding of modern scientific concepts of various spheres of life; general awareness. 2. Have the skills of analysis, critical thinking, track the cause and effect of events.
Course content
In the modern sense, science is a field of intellectual human activity aimed at finding true knowledge about the world around us, systematizing the information obtained, developing methods of interaction with the world and the ability to predict its variability; building a scientific image of the world. Also, science is called a special way of knowing the world. In a broader sense, science is a dynamic system or a set of objectively true industry knowledge and a social institution.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The purpose and task of the discipline "Scientific image of the world" is to gain knowledge in the field of history of science, as well as the formation and features of the modern scientific image of the world.
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment (max. 100 points / min. 60 points): the level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by: 1. Modular control robot - 60 points / 36 points; 2. Independent work - 20 points / 12 points; 3. Final test - 20 points / 12 points.
