Learning outcomes
Know the theoretical foundations of modern cosmology. Know the composition and main stages of evolution of the universe. Know the basic equations that describe the evolution of the universe as a whole, its individual components and cosmological perturbations. To know modern problems of cosmology and physics of elementary particles and approaches to their solution. Be able to use the apparatus of general relativity to describe the evolution of the universe. Be able to apply the methods of thermodynamics, statistical physics and particle physics to analyze processes in the early universe. Be able to solve problems related to theories of the structure and evolution of the universe. Be able to analyze data from key cosmological observations and determine the parameters of cosmological models.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basics of general relativity, classical field theory, particle physics, statistical physics and thermodynamics. 2. To be able to apply previously acquired knowledge from the courses of general theory of relativity, particle physics and statistical physics to solve practical problems, to analyze the results of their work. 3. Have the skills of calculations in the course of the theory of differential equations, differential geometry and tensor algebra, work with educational literature, interaction with colleagues during training.
Course content
1. Homogeneous and isotropic universe. 2. The dynamics of the expansion of the universe. 3. Modern cosmological model ΛCDM. 4. Accelerated expansion of the universe due to the scalar field. 5. Thermodynamics in the early universe. 6. Recombination and cleavage of photons. Neutrino cleavage. 7. Primary nucleosynthesis. 8. Dark matter. 9. Phase transitions in the early universe. 10. Problems of the Big Bang theory. 11. Theory of inflation. Classification of inflation models. 12. Warming of the universe after inflation. 13. Generation of primary disturbances during inflation. 14. Evolution of primary perturbations at the stages of dominance of radiation and nonrelativistic matter. 15. Anisotropy of temperature and polarization of relic radiation.
