Learning outcomes
1.1. Know the basics of designing tools for quantitative and qualitative social research, the sequence of stages of its implementation and the structure of the report. 2.1. Be able to plan the stages of sociological research. 2.2. Be able to design research tools (questionnaires, observation cards, coding cards, guides, materials for projective techniques, etc.); 2.3. Be able to instruct in the collection of primary sociological information; 3.1. Organization of a working research and analytical team. 4.1. Presentation of practice and research results.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the theory and methods of social technology. 2. Possess the basic methods of sociological research. In the course of industrial practice, knowledge and skills in the following disciplines are deepened: - general orientation: "Fundamentals of social psychology", "Fundamentals of social management", "Fundamentals of social communications"; - scientific and theoretical orientation: "General Sociology", "General Theory of Social Technologies", "Methodology of Sociological Research", "Social Structure of Society"; - research and applied orientation: "Methods of collecting sociological data", "Methods of analysis of quantitative sociological data", "Organization and methods of sample research in sociology", "Evaluation research technologies".
Course content
During the internship students-interns have: - to get acquainted with the structure and main activities of the institution-base of practice, methodology and results of research; - to practice the skills of drawing up a work plan and program of sociological / social research, development of research tools; - to consolidate the skills of applying methods of collecting quantitative and qualitative social information, its processing and analysis; - to consolidate the skills to present the results of their own research to the authorities, civil society structures and the mass audience; - learn to organize the work of the research team.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Attending scheduled meetings with the manager and the Customer; current reporting on work. Minimum - 6 points. Maximum - 10 points. 2. Efficiency of work on the basis of practice. Minimum - 24 points. Maximum - 40 points. 3. Quality of the written report on the internship. Minimum - 12 points. Maximum - 20 points. 4. Protection of the report and evaluation of results. Minimum - 18 points. Maximum - 30 points.
