Learning outcomes
- knowledge: about the meaning and essence of the concept of "mobility", basic theoretical concepts of postmodernism, explaining the concept of mobility; the role and significance of modern research on mobility in sociology, as well as the essence and content of images of mobility and its social significance in the context of theories of urbanization and globalization. - skills: ability to work with modern scientific texts, critically study the source, use methods of analysis, compare and evaluate the methodological capacity of different concepts and methodologies for studying mobility in the context of globalization and urbanization. - skills of organizing and presenting a research project; - analytical, research and exploration activities

1. To know theories of space and social mobility. 2. To be able to think analytically. 3. To have the computer and digital skills.
Course content
1. Theories of newest mobility. Mobility: new research horizons. The concept of variability, liquid and flows. 2. The person is mobile. Nomadism in the Postmodern Age. Freelance and precariat theory. 3. Mobility practices. G. Debor's theory of drift and A. Lefebvre's rhythm analysis. Mobility in urban space. 4. Modern communications and mobility. Sociology of mobile telephony. Internet and mobile communications.
