Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes To know: features of the subject of history religion, its place in the system religious studies and humanities knowledge; Know the basic concepts of the history of religion and the basic concepts of the study of religion; To be able to: substantiate one's own worldview position regarding the importance of religion in the life of a person and society; The ability to formulate and argue one's own opinion during a discussion on religion; conduct polemics on religious issues based on mastery of the categorical conceptual apparatus of the course autonomy and responsibility: to demonstrate the ability to independently search and critically process literature on course issues, to be fluent in the methods of processing, analysis and synthesis of scientific information; Justification of the need for tolerant perception of social, cultural and personal differences

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites and additional requirements 1. Know: basic concepts of philosophy, ethics, aesthetics and cultural studies. Have philosophical categorical apparatus; have an idea of the main features dogmatics and worship of world religions, their historical evolution and current state. 2. To be able to collect and interpret information about cultural phenomena and phenomena, religious processes and events; apply basic terms and categories from religious studies in the analysis of worldview problems and socio-cultural phenomena and processes; operate with objective knowledge of history and cultural history; 3.Possess the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and visualization of sociological data; leading a discussion, critical attitude and forecasting regarding worldview, religious and cultural events and phenomena; use of professional cultural and religious information sources using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).

Early national and national state religions CONTENT MODULE 2 "History of World Religions" Topic 5. Buddhism Topic 6. History of Christianity before the schism Topic 7. History and modernity of Orthodoxy Topic 8. History of Catholicism. On the basis of an independent search and study of special scientific and educational literature, research the socio-political tradition of modern Catholicism and Orthodoxy, make a comparative analysis. Assessment methods and criteria
Methods and criteria of assessment Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.3), which makes up 25% of the total grade for the semester, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1 - 2.3; communication 3.1 – 3.2; autonomy 4.1 - 4.4), which is 75% of the total grade for the semester. Final control is carried out in the form of a written test, which is evaluated at a maximum of 20 points and is conducted at one of the last practical classes in the discipline.
