Learning outcomes
1. To carry out an intellectual search, to identify and critically consider the current problems of modern philosophical thought, to develop them within the framework of one's own philosophical research.
2. To be able to reconstruct the historical progress of world philosophy, the evolution of philosophical ideas and problems.
3. Critically interpret, analyze and evaluate philosophical texts, apply relevant methods of their analysis and interpretation.
4. To understand the connections of philosophy with other areas of philosophical discourse and other intellectual and humanitarian practices.
5. Plan and carry out scientific research on philosophy and related issues, formulate and test hypotheses, argue conclusions, present
research results in various forms of scientific communication.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before starting this course, students should know the basic principles of the historical-philosophical process; principles and established approaches to the periodization of the history of philosophy, in particular philosophical/historical-philosophical trends in the 20th-21st centuries.
2. To be able to analyze material, to work with texts/information sources and to be able to classify them in accordance with the modern digital era, to possess the categorical apparatus of historical and philosophical research; apply the methodological tools of historical and philosophical research,
independently compile the source base of (own) research.
3. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and work with information; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural and artistic events and phenomena; the use of foreign language specialized historical and philosophical informative sources; open attitude to assimilation of new information.

Module I. "Kyiv philosophical tradition: invariance of definition and phenomenon"
1. Kyiv philosophical tradition: possible options for defining boundaries: prerequisites for the formation of tendencies/trends/alternatives of Kyiv philosophy
Module II. "Trends of the Kyiv philosophical tradition in the context of modern and post-modern
philosophy"
2. Modern conditions of possibility of the Kyiv philosophical school
3. Reflections on modern philosophy and post-philosophy in the Kyivan philosophical tradition
4. Dynamics of evolution of the Kyiv philosophical school
5. Prospects for the development of the Kyiv philosophical tradition
6. Modern philosophy in the context of the Kyiv philosophical tradition
7. Postmodern philosophy in the context of the Kyivan philosophical tradition

2. Independent work (summary of primary source):
10 points – the student worked out the necessary text with citations and relevant ones
own remarks and explanations;
5 points – the student summarized the text without explanations.
3. Independent work (essay text): (up to 15 points.)

control work:
20-16 points, the student fully possesses the educational material,
15-11 points - the student has a sufficient amount of educational material,
10-6 points - in general possesses the educational material,
5-0 points - does not fully master the material,
