Learning outcomes
- Know and apply in professional activities regulations, regulatory and technical documents, reference materials in the field of geodesy and land management and related industries. - Participate in the creation of state geodetic networks and special engineering and geodetic networks, organize and perform topographic and cadastral surveys, geodetic measurements, engineering and geodetic surveys for the design, construction and operation of construction sites. - Develop land management documentation, cadastral documentation and land valuation documentation using computer technology, geographic information systems and digital photogrammetry, fill in the data of state land, urban and other cadastres. - Plan and perform geodetic, topographic and cadastral surveys, process the results in geographic information systems.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
With the aim of better mastering the educational material of the discipline, the students are fully mastered to the beginning by the knowledge and skills of the disciplines, "Fundamentals of Geoinformatics", "Geoinformation Systems in Earth Sciences", "Topography", "Remote sensing"
Course content
The State Land Cadastre is the only state geoinformation system of information on lands located within the state border of Ukraine, their purpose, restrictions on their use, as well as data on quantitative and qualitative characteristics of lands, their assessment, distribution of land between owners and users. (Law of Ukraine on the State Land Cadastre). Within the framework of studying the discipline there will be acquaintance with the basics of policy implementation and practice in the field of SLC in Ukraine and the world, legal and organizational framework of activities in the field of SLC, conceptual framework, principles of state policy in the field of law, as a part of technical documentation of features of application of GIS and databases of spatial data by scientific personnel and financial maintenance of activity in this sphere.

Assessment methods and criteria
The results of students' educational activity are evaluated on a 100-point scale. The final grade is based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester, as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester and the number of points obtained in the exam.
