Know and apply in professional activities legal acts, normative and technical documents, reference materials in the field of geodesy and land management and related industries. Know the history and features of the development of geodesy and land management, their place in the general system of knowledge about nature and society. Perform surveys and topographic and geodetic, cartographic, design and design and survey work in the performance of professional tasks in geodesy and land management. Participate in the creation of state geodetic networks and special engineering geodetic networks, organize and carry out topographic and cadastral surveys, geodetic measurements, engineering and geodetic surveys for the design, construction and operation of construction projects. Select and apply tools, equipment, equipment and software necessary for remote, ground, field and office research in the field of geodesy and land management.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The discipline "Geodesy" is based on a cycle of disciplines of theoretical and professional training, in particular, students must have knowledge of topography, have basic training in mathematics, physics.
Course content
The academic discipline "Geodesy" is the base for obtaining the degree of bachelor of knowledge "19. Architecture and construction” specialty “193. Geodesy and land management''. The theory and practice of training specialists in the study of the shape, dimensions of the Earth, methods of accurate geodetic, gravimetric and astronomical-geodesic measurements, which are performed to determine the coordinates of points on the earth's surface are presented; study of the theory and practice of geodetic measurements on the earth's surface using modern technologies, hardware and software to create a geodetic network of topographic surveys (basic geodetic work). Processing these measurements.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course provides 2 substantive parts (3, 4 semesters). Classes are held in the form of lectures, laboratory classes, independent performance of individual tasks (at the student's choice). The discipline ends with an exam.
Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, all types of work are assessed, including independent work and the implementation of individual tasks. Individual tasks are formed by Case study on one of the selected topics or the course as a whole. Deadline - 20 days from receipt of the assignment. The defense of student research results is carried out during the semester and ends a week before the session.
