Course content
The discipline occupies one of the leading places in the preparation of a specialist at the "bachelor" educational qualification level, as it provides knowledge of the basics of metrology, an understanding of the application of standards in the field of geomatics, as well as the certification of specialists in the field of geodesy and land management and measuring tools. The discipline is the theoretical basis of the formation of professional competences that form a specialist in the specialty 193 - geodesy and land management.

Assessment methods and criteria
Control is carried out according to the modular rating system and includes: execution 7 practical works (where students have to demonstrate the quality of acquired knowledge and to solve the tasks using the methods and tools outlined by the teacher), and carrying out 2 written modular control papers. The final assessment takes place in the form of a credit.
