Learning outcomes
Communicateoral and in writing in the state and foreign languages on issues of professional activity. Organize and manage the professional development of individuals and groups. Communicate information, ideas, problems, solutions, own experience and arguments to specialists and non-specialists. Apply the conceptual knowledge of the natural and socio-economic sciences when performing the tasks of geodesy and land management.

Before studying this course, students must know the main stages of development of statehood of Ukraine, key events in world history and history of Ukraine.
Course content
The discipline "Ukrainian and foreign culture" involves acquainting students with the theoretical and methodological foundations of cultural research, the main stages of development of world cultures, types of culture and the specifics of regional forms. The course focuses on the analysis of cultural phenomena and processes that took place in different historical periods, traces their relationships and interactions, as well as the identification of cultural features that have emerged. Particular attention is paid to the European region, within which the development of culture in Ukraine is considered. The discipline involves the analysis of the characteristics of the main achievements of world art, including architecture, various historical stages, acquaintance with the main theoretical works, the activities of cultural institutions.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides a two-level assessment of mastered material, including assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.7), which is 40% of the total assessment and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.4); (communication 3.1-3.3); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.2), which is 60% of the total score.
