Learning outcomes
PLO 6. To use professional arguments to transmit information, ideas, problems and ways of their solving to professionals and non-professionals in the field of economic activity. PLO 9. To realize the main features of the modern world and national economy, the institutional structure, directions of social, economic and foreign economic policy of the state. PLO 13. To identify sources and understand the methodology of determination and methods for obtaining socio-economic data, collect and analyze the necessary information, calculate economic and social indicators. PLO 21. To be able to think abstractly, apply analysis and synthesis to identify the key characteristics of economic systems of various levels, as well as the peculiarities of their subjects' behavior.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know: the content and specifics of the main stages of development of the world economy; periods of formation and main stages of development of economic science; main schools, trends, directions of economic theory. 2. To have: skills of comparative analysis, synthesis, interpretation of socio-economic phenomena and theories.
Course content
The course "History of Economics and Economic Thought of Ukraine" studies logical and historical development of the economy and economic thought in Ukraine. Section 1 «History of Economics of Ukraine" (topics 1-9): the study of the genesis of types and forms of menage in the pre-industrial era, patterns of formation of the foundations of industrial economy and its features in Ukraine, transformations of domestic forms of menage and organization of production at the turn of XX-XXI centuries. Section 2 "History of Economic Thought of Ukraine" (topics 10-15): the study of the content, preconditions and patterns of evolution of Ukrainian economic thought in the context of trends in the history of world economics.
