Course content
"Analytical and quantitative morphology" is an integrated field of biology that emerged at the intersection of classical morphology, cytology, histology and biometrics. Morphometric analysis is the process of obtaining quantitative and / or qualitative information from cytological, histological and macropreparation. The task of analytical and quantitative morphology is, therefore, the development and application of methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis of various structures of living organisms (cells, subcellular structures, tissues, organs, etc.) used in biological morphometric studies, as well as - patterns of morphometric changes parameters in different morpho-functional states of the living system under different conditions in normal and pathology.
